Maya Gogokhia was a postgraduate student at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University in 1994-1996, and she was awarded the degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences in 1997.Maya is the author of more than 50 scientific works (including 2 courses of lectures) on the problems of finance, money circulation and banking. Maya has practical experience in the banking sector in the international relations department, many years of experience working at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University in the Department of Finance and Banking, first as a docent and then as an associate professor in 2006-2009 and 2018-2022 years. She lectures on the following subjects: banking, financial institutions and markets, securities markets, insurance and others. Maya has participated in several international conferences.
