They are looking for ways of development that are fully compatible with the digital age and will determine the country's place and role in the world economic system. One of the important directions of development is the formation of an economy based on innovative, technological changes, technologies that are the basis of digital transformation. The paper discusses the essence of digital transformation and the macro and micro determinants of its expressive innovative activity. International programs of digital transformation in Georgia are reviewed. Statistical data reflecting technological changes in Georgia at the enterprise level are also analyzed in the study. The analysis is based on a survey of enterprises on the use of digital technologies and includes an analysis of both the diffusion of technologies and the hindering factors.
