∘ Teimuraz Shengelia ∘ THE STUDY OF MOTIVATIONS OF AN INDIVIDUAL BEHAVIOR IN BUSINESS, TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE GENDER DIFFERENCES Summary The results of the research indicate the similarity of social-personal characteristics of the group employed in the field of business. However, there are some differences between women and men employed in business. In general, men have a more positive attitude towards competition than women. The characteristics of their business activities (competitiveness, own ability to achieve success) are higher. Both groups in business as a whole prioritize active behavioral strategies. Interpersonal interaction style tends towards dominance and independence. At the same time, research has established that women in business are in many ways close to male (masculine) characteristics and are significantly different from typical female (feminist) stereotypes. Men working in business are characterized by a more positive attitude towards risk and competition, a high assessment of their own abilities and competitiveness in economic activity than women. In conflict situations, women have a higher socially oriented interpersonal interaction style than men. |
