∘ Lavrenti (Zurab) Gudavadze ∘ Nodar Poporadze ∘ Gela Machaidze ∘ Gela Lobjanidze ∘ GLOBAL TRENDS AND SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ACHIEVEMENT, CHALLENGS AND PROSPECTS OF GEORGIA Summary The study and analysis of socio-political and socio-economic events and processes worldwide proves that it is not as safe and developed as it could be and/or could be in the future. As the world becomes more and more interconnected, it is clear that rational, effective and optimal prevention and management of all risks cannot yet be implemented. Today, the challenges are many, the goals are different, and the ways to achieve them are either politically difficult or completely new to the world. Nevertheless, leaders around the world must understand the global context in which they will navigate how these circumstances will help or hinder the progress of desired strategic goals and how best to implement strategic plans to ensure a safe and healthy environment for quality of life. To achieve a green, resilient and inclusive recovery, Georgia should focus on strengthening competitiveness, human capital, institutions and infrastructure, international and regional integration, innovation and digital transformation, the effective management of which will significantly contribute to the sustainable socio-economic development of the country. Key words: Global Trends, Geopolitics, Sustainability, Forecasts, Perspectives. |
