While sustainable urbanization is a multifaceted concept with economic, environmental, and social dimensions, the role of innovation districts is particularly significant in the social dimension. This is because they directly impact people's quality of life, public welfare, and the city's capacity for innovation. This paper define the core characteristics of innovation districts, examine examples of successful modern districts, and focus on the potential and importance of creating a innovation district in Tbilisi. |
