SOME ASPECTS OF FOOD SAFETY IN TOURISM (GEORGIA)

Summary 

This study examines the importance of food safety in the tourism sector, with a particular focus on Georgia. Tourism is recognized as a key driver of the country’s economic development; however, challenges related to food safety continue to pose significant barriers to its sustainable growth. The paper discusses the main aspects of food safety management, identifies existing problems, and highlights the role of international organizations in this area. Statistical data and global challenges are provided to illustrate the risks and difficulties associated with ensuring food safety in tourism.
